The lonely animal..

I am alone,
You must know.
I am the cloud,
The trees are my home.

I sit atop the hill,
Thinking of your cruel thoughts.
We are far from everyone else,
Then why don’t you let us rest?

I am the creation, God is the creator.
You are the creation, God is the creator.
We are all His creation,
And He has a bond with all He made.

He placed us here,
To live without fear.
He made us free,
To use His trees.

He gave you land,
To build your tent.
But you grew greedy,
Seizing the trees for your needs.

We hold no hate,
For your place.
But you are like a mouse,
Gnawing away at our house.

It’s true,
I cannot speak, but I have a heart.
I have emotions, I cry,
And I need my trees to survive.

I have family,
I have friends.
Do not cut the trees,
Do not make me die.

Our eyes are filled with sorrow,
Our hearts bear deep wounds.
I laugh from the outside,
Yet scream from within.

No one hears my cries,
I am alone! I am alone!
